CAISIS Development
The foundation of medical progress is well-informed participants. The BioDigital IT team strives to make advances in medicine by constructing information systems that enable the collection, storage, analysis and visualization of medical data.
Information Systems
BioDigital has expertise in the storage, analysis and presentation of biomedical data. In the rapidly changing field of healthcare traditional system design principles often do not apply. Novel approaches to collect, share and present data are needed to meet the growing demand for access anywhere healthcare information.
BioDigital was a pleasure to work with! They were responsive,
flexible, professional and worked together seamlessly.
Medical Data Visualization
Since the development of the first virtual beating heart in 2002, BioDigital has
pioneered the use of medical data to create scientifically accurate 3D simulations.
Today, as the demand for healthcare information grows stronger, we continue to make
strives in visualizing data to more efficiently communicate medical information.
Some of the many ways BioDigital customers have benefited from data visualization
include: - Interfaces for data input/output - Device visualization - Predicting
procedure outcomes - Surgical pre-planning - Patient education and consultations
- Didactic materials and presentations - Graphing and charting of scientific data

Multimedia Modules
For over 500 years medical education has been left to written word and illustration. The advent of the internet and digital technologies has finally enabled incredible new ways to understand biomedical subjects. Multimedia platforms that stimulate multiple senses by delivering information in visual, interactive formats provide deeper understanding in less time.

3D Imaging Reconstruction and Analysis
Using advanced data reconstruction techniques, BioDigital can create incredible 3D volumetric and surface models from patient scans and imaging datasets. These models can be used in 3D animation or imported into the BioDigital Human software platform for real-time interaction and manipulation.CAISIS Development & Support
With sponsoring ship from Memorial Sloan-Kettering, the NIH, and a number of other prominent cancer centers world-wide, BioDigital is proud to have lead the programming of the open-source Cancer Data Management System since project inception. Team members have the most intimate knowledge of all Caisis technicalities and know the best approach to enhancing, installing and configuring the system to meet local needs.
